Job Summary

ProDevs is looking for a motivated Data Engineer to augment the existing Project team. As a Data Engineer, you will work on the data that are collected from different sources of online shops and marketing channels in the ePharmacy market.

Core responsibilities:

Ensure high data availability and implement large-scale data solutions using big data and BI technologies
Provide data representations/views and existing procedures for exporting and importing
Optimize the structures and increase the performance on queries
Harmonize data from different sources
Define and implement data science tools with different functionalities
Support with your domain knowledge and contribute to our real time analytics platform

Prerequisites needed to be successful:

3+ years of work experience in Data Engineering
Extensive experience in SQL and High-Performance, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL
Good know-how in Linux, Shell, and DevOps tools
Good understanding of Kafka and Kubernetes
Strong knowledge in data modeling, and storage of large data
You like to collaborate in diverse and visionary teams within an agile environment
Python Pandas and Apache Spark knowledge is a big plus
Good verbal and written communications skills in English, German is a plus
